beginning of the history of the Queen Mary ship would become
the Great Queen Mary Ship.

Mary Ship was suspended. But Queen Mary Ship 's construction
resumed on April 3, 1934.

that the Queen Mary Ship departed on her last great cruise on
Tuesday October 31, 1967. The Queen Mary Ship retired after
1000 commercial round trips of the Atlantic on September 19,
1967. She served her war duties from March 1940 to September
1946.

British registry and officially turned over to the City of Long
Beach which took ownership of the Queen Mary Ship on December
11, 1967.
