Unique to Long Beach California, there are free Long Beach buses serving from the West side of Long Beach to the end of tourist places in Long Beach. These free Long Beach buses are called 'The Passport'. There are four routes for Long Beach bus Passport buses.

Long Beach bus Passport A and D

Long Beach bus Passport A runs from Catalina Landings (where you catch the boat to Catalina Island) to somewhere near Belmont Shore. Riding the Long Beach bus Passport A is free from Catalina Landings stop to a stop at the Alamitos intersection. IF you plan to ride the Long Beach bus far such as all the way to Belmont shore, a fare must be paid. Long Beach bus Passport D is red in color just like Long Beach bus Passport A and its route is also similar to Long Beach bus Passport A.
